Baytown, Texas – Duna-USA has added a low-density production line to its Texas facility. It has also purchased another six acres of land at the site, and Duna Group president Marta Brozzi anticipates construction will begin there in the near future.
Duna-USA set for Texas expansion
The company claims the new production line reduces waste and allows block profiles to be optimised and product consistency increased. Production controls and safety capabilities are also improved.
‘With the completion of our recent expansions, and the addition of critical technology and equipment, customer demand and growth opportunities have increased greatly,’ said Andrea Benedetti, Duna-USA’s CEO. ‘Purchasing additional land will prove vital to streamlining our operations and consolidating our production, fabrication, packaging and storage processes.’
Its products include Corafoam polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams. These are sold for to broad range of end-users, including aerospace, mechanical insulation, LNG, automotive and signage industries.
