Wilmington, Delaware -- DuPont Co. and Koch Industries Inc. said they have settled a lawsuit over the 2004 sale of DuPont's textiles and interiors business to Koch subsidiaries.
The companies said the suit was related to indemnification provisions of the $4.2 billion 2004 sale agreement. The case was being tried in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and began 4 June .
The settlement resolves the dispute, the firms said. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Wichita, Kansas-based Koch merged the business with its Arteva Specialties sarl subsidiary, and changed its name to Invista sarl.
The business produces nylon, polyester, spandex urethane fibre and resins.
