Ebalta, a German supplier of specialised polyurethane and epoxy materials for mould and tool making, has opened a 2000-sq.m plant and production line. The Rothenberg site will manufacture Ebablock materials; jointless blocks of either polyurethane or epoxy.
According to the company, its products require no post processing, which shortens milling times, reduces waste and therefore provides customers with an economical product for producing patterns and models.
"We are happy to say that 2008 was a fantastic business year for Ebalta," said Andre Neutzler, the company's managing director, "and we expect further growth in our business during the second half of 2009.
"The difficult economic climate experienced during the past few months will force industry leaders to develop new products and 90 percent of Ebalta's customers work in the field of development."
