Helsinki -- Chemicals produced or imported in the European Economic Area between one tonne and 100T/year have to be registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA)by 31 May 2018, the organisation said.
The date is the last deadline for existing chemicals under the REACH Regulation, said a press release.
Companies need to register by the deadline to be legally on the market.
A webinar on the first phase will take place on the organisation's website on Wednesday 24 June at 9am (GMT).
It will outline which substances need to be registered, what information will be required and what elements contribute to the cost of registration, the release said.
