Sydney, Australia — Era Polymers is offering two new ranges of low free TDI pre-polymers for dynamic applications such as high-speed forklift trucks, rollers and gears.
Designated XL series, there are two families of materials: Erapol XLE which are polyether-based and Erapol XLS polyester-based materials.
The company says they both have free TDI content of below 0.1%, low viscosity and long pot life which "makes for greater flexibility and ease of processing."
The XLE product range is made up of liquid isocyanate-terminated pre-polymers based on 100% PTMEG polyether polyol and are available in a range of harnesses including 90 Shore A, 93A, 95A and 75D.
The XLS family are polyester-based polyurethane pre-polymers formulated for use with MbOCA. And are available in a range of harnesses including 85 Shore A, 98A and 95 A.
