Kremsmunster, Austria — Eurofoam Austria has licensed Xilinmen (Sleemon) Furniture to make cellpur foam in China.
The agreement was signed between Wolfgang Ender, managing director Eurofoam Austria and Louis Liu, general manager, foam division, Xilinmen in mid-April 2016.
Xilinmen was founded in 1984 and has developed into one of the largest integrated manufacturers of mattresses and wooden furniture in China. The company operates four local production hubs thus covering the whole of China. Xilinmen employs around 3000 staff and is listed on the Chinese stock exchange.
Cellpur foam incorporates Tencel fibre, which Eurofoam said helps make the foam drier in use, with good point elasticity and air transfer properties.
