Battice, Belgium - Euroresins Europe Holding GmbH & Co. KG has been appointed exclusive distributor of 3B's continuous filament mat products for the composites industry in large parts of Europe, according to a 10 Nov announcement from 3B.
Euroresins, based in Böblingen, Germany, will serve small to medium-sized composite customers in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Baltic States, UK, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, the notice said, indicating that 3B's CFM is used for products in the wind energy sector as well as other innovative composites.
3B Continuous Filament Mat is a non-woven mat made from Advantex glass filaments, consisting of continuous fibres randomly oriented in multiple layers. The Belgian company says that CFM is particularly suitable for compression moulded electrical and non-electrical laminates as well as for pultrusion and infusion or injection processes (e.g. RTM, S-RIM or matched die moulding).
