Essen, Germany -- Evonik Industries AG's Comfort & Insulation business invites visitors to the PU China 2012 event, being held in Shenzhen, China, 18-20 Sept, to go to its stand (No 400) and see what Evonik can offer for customers in China and the rest of Asia.

There they will be able to see what products this leading supplier of additives used in the manufacture of various types of polyurethane foam is offering.

"Comfort" refers to the flexible foams used in the mattresses, upholstered furniture, and automobile interiors, while "insulation" refers to the exceptional properties of the polyurethane rigid foams used in refrigerators or as a construction material.

Evonik also has a global spanning sales and distribution network supported by local technical service experts.

"In China we have been supporting the polyurethane market for more than 30 years now. This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our local production plant in Shanghai," the company said.

PU China organisers Crain Communications Ltd and China MinMetals Corp. are expecting good attendance at the three-day event, where global and local suppliers can show visitors what innovations and developments they have on offer for the polyurethanes sector. At the previous PU China event in Shenzhen, in May 2010, some 8000 visitors passed through the doors of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.
