Hopewell, Virginia - Evonik Goldschmidt Corp's Polyurethane Additives business will increase prices for Kosmos 29 stannous octoate by 10-12 percent in North America, with effect from 15 March. The company blamed the increase on rising raw material costs.
Prices for Kosmos 29 dilutions and Kosmos 19 di-butyl tin di-laurate will also increase.
Kosmos 29 is used as a catalyst in the foam manufacturing industry.
Previously, on 1 Feb, Evonik announced price increases of 5-10 percent for its other polyurethane additives.
