Nanterre, France -- Faurecia North America will share its expertise on reducing vehicle mass in presentations at the ITB Automotive Cockpit and Door 2009 Conference 24 Sept at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel in Novi, Michigan.
Faurecia topics include:
* "Lightweight Sustainable Substrate Materials for Automotive Interiors," presented by Lisa Viazanko, product concept engineer for Faurecia North America. She will provide a global overview of natural fibre composite materials and processes that Faurecia is applying as the next generation of lightweight automotive interior substrates.
* "Lightweight Reinforced Airbag Lid in Foam (RALF)," presented by Christophe Baillet, senior manager, concept engineering for Faurecia North America.
