Nanterre, France -- Tier one auto supplier Faurecia SA has won a "company of the year" award from the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC), based in Michigan, for its role in advancing business relations between the two countries.
Each year, the Michigan Chapter names one France-based and one America-based winner. Faurecia, headquartered in Nanterre, won the France award, while BorgWarner won the award for an American company.
"It is an honour to be recognised for our commitment to French-American relations, which are so important to international business," Mike Heneka, president of Faurecia North America, said in a statement.
The US division of Faurecia, Faurecia North America, has 29 sites.
