Manheim, Pennsylvania - Fenner Precision, a manufacturer of custom polyurethane drive belts, is opening a new Central European sales office in Dusseldorf, Germany. The office will serve Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and the Baltic countries, a company statement said.
"Operating on a global scale requires being available for clients on their terms and time, including a team which speaks the language and understand cultural nuisances," said Tony Watts, Fenner's group marketing manager. "Companies are also looking beyond pricing; they're looking for partners. This office will enable Fenner Precision to be a more proactive partner within this market," he added.
"Industry manufacturers are looking for solutions unique to their situation, whether it is design, material or production needs," said Michael Planz, Central Europe sales manager. Planz also said that the market is looking towards sound-reduction solutions and custom-developed parts and materials.
