Gurten, Austria - Machinery developer Fill has won an Austrian "Best Business Award" for sustainable corporate management.
The trophy presentation took place 29 Oct 2009 at the Ars Electronica Center in Linz. "We are very pleased. Especially in such financially challenging times, this award is acknowledgement of our corporate philosophy," said managing director, Andreas Fill.
The "Best Business Award" rewards outstanding performance in East Bavaria, Upper Austria, and South Bohemia. This year, attention focused on sustainability, and Fill was, "able to impress the judges with our overall package - from the corporate philosophy and innovation process through to staff loyalty and retention," said Andreas Fill.
Fill makes machinery and plant for diverse sectors, including the polyurethane processing industry. It, offers equipment for aluminum casting and plastics and metal-cutting technology for the automotive industry along with production systems for the timber, ski and snowboard industries.
The company claims to be the global market leader in machines for ski and snowboard production and for aluminum core-removal technology.
