Connecticut, US – Firestable Insulation Company has extended its range of spray polyurethane foam insulation, with the addition of two more products to its Stablebase range. Both the 2.0 Max R and 0.5 Max Yield products contain no ozone-depleting blowing agents.

Stablebase 2.0 Max R is a two-component closed-cell SPF that is blown with HFO. It has a GWP of less than 2, and is designed for both commercial and residential applications. It has an R-value of 7.5, and an extremely fast re-occupancy time, the company said. It can be sprayed at temperatures as low as –6°C.

The second new product, Stable Base 0.5 Max Yield, is a two-component open-cell SPF. The high-yield, low-density, no-mix foam is designed to give both good thermal performance and control of air infiltration as an air barrier assembly. It is water-blown.

“We worked hard to optimize these products to outperform others when combined with our Firestable FS 2.0 NFPA-275 thermal barrier foam,” said Tyler Boehs, the company’s VP of sales. “Acting as a base foam in a hybrid system, either Stablebase product actually increases yields up to 10% of the system, providing better value, faster installs and unmatched safety all in one.”
