Hamein, Germany - ATL Schub's GmbH recently announced that for the first time, its offering a mobile reticulation unit for polyurethane foam.
"The demand for mobile machines, and machines available for short term use keeps getting referred to us, for example in order to cope with production bottlenecks in the processing of foaming material or in order to bridge over the waiting period up to the delivery of one's own Reticulatus machines," said Jörn Struckman, one of the directors of ATL Schub. On this basis, "we have developed a suitable concept and now offer our market-ready container solution," he added.
ATL Schub's said the entire machine can be accommodated in a standard marine container and can therefore be quickly and flexibly transported anywhere in Europe by all major means of transport.
"We can make the machines available on lease or also for purchase. Even the short-term requirement can be flexibly fulfilled, as the Reticulatus is ready for use on-site within just one hour," said Axel Schulz, second director of ATL Schub's.
ATL Scub's said that Reticulatus has "all the international certificates" and that quality and safety are its "top priorities in processing." The company said that over 15 machines in all currently operate in Europe, the US and Asia. Struckman added, "the four machines which have been delivered in the last 12 months are now operational in India, China, Thailand and the US. This shows how extensive international interest in Reticulatus is."
In relation to the large amount of orders on the company's books ATL Schub's said, "in this field, we are talking about the only available system which provides a secured, computer controlled and therefore, continuously operated process."
Reticulatus uses controlled explosions, which crush the fine membranes of the foam and thereby create the desired open-cell structure. The crucial difference compared to previous solutions is that it is a tested, fully computerised process. The Reticulatus system of ATL Schub's consists of machinery and complete process know-how.
