North Carolina, United States -- A revolutionary poured foam method for creating made to measure seating in performance vehicles could help prevent motorsports injuries.
BSCI uses a highly-engineered open-cell, energy-absorbing urethane foam to custom-engineer a seat insert which moulds perfectly to the individual driver and vehicle for maximum comfort and performance, according to the company.
The company can create the seats in 30 minutes but the compound used to make the seats is also available to buy for DIY.
BSCI uses SFI 45.2-approved impact foam with a density of 77kg/m3. The material will self-extinguish in the event of a fire.
