The furniture, called Froam, uses rigid spray PU to separate and hold thin metal sheets in place.
The collection comprises stools, chairs and a table. According to the website designboom.com, the Sdanley designs are built to use the minimum amount of foam needed for stability and strength.
Sdanley said that because of the volume expansion of polyurethane, the simple shape of the furniture becomes more 'organic and natural'.
Sdanley produces the range in two versions, including one where the furniture is trimmed to show the internal cell shape.
