Norton, Ohio -- Fomo Products Inc. says it has received the 'prestigious' Greenguard certification for 13 of its low-pressure spray polyurethane foams, sealants and adhesives. The certification indicates that products meet "some of the world's most comprehensive standards" for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The products received the Greenguard indoor air quality and the Greenguard children & schools certifications, the Norton, Ohio-based company said.
"Fomo has always been an industry leader in product safety and application, and now we can also offer the assurance that our products meet the highest standards in product emissions," commented Sara Jonas, vice president of marketing, Fomo.
She added, "Chemical emissions from building materials can often be triggers for health issues, so we take this certification very seriously and are proud to offer this added benefit to our distributors, contractors and homeowners."
Fomo said Greenguard certification is recognised in over 400 green building codes and rating systems, as the demand for healthy, sustainable products continues to expand across consumers and building industry professionals worldwide.
