Paris – SNPU, the French association of rigid polyurethane board makers, said its members are ready for business, despite the tougher coronavirus provisions now being enforced in the country.

Striebig: we are open for business
Secretary general Xavier Striebig said his members have been supplying products to guarantee an optimal delivery of current and future projects.
He explained that production plants are operational and remain open, the availability of products is assured, and logistics are operational.
Striebig added that rigid polyurethane producers are working to preserve and intensify what he described as the favourable dynamics of the construction industry. The polyurethane insulation market is strong, he said.
Striebig's appointment as SNPU general secretary was announced at the end of September. The SNPU represents five rigid polyurethane panel makers in France: Soprema, Recticel, Knauf, IKO and Unilin.
