Lotte, Germany -- FRIMO and California's Covelo Machine & Tool Trade Co (CMTT) have formed a joint venture to produce high-pressure mixing heads.
Armin Daniel, who heads the PU systems engineering division at FRIMO, said: "CMTT fits perfectly into FRIMO’s global PU strategy and represents a major step forward in our quest to establish a global network of production and service facilities.”
The company told UTECH-polyurethane.com it could release no further details about how the deal was split between the companies.
CMTT was founded in 1980 in California, where it repairs and rebuilds mixing heads for KraussMaffei RIM equipment. The company also produces prototypes and will make complete units tested and ready to use.
