Chicago, lllinois -- Frimo Inc. presented the entire Frimo product portfolio as well as its new products for the US market at this year's NPE show in Chicago, 22 to 26 June. Despite a 30-percent decrease in exhibitors and visitors, Jeff Daily, president of Frimo Inc., said in a company statement that he was pleased with the number of visitors, which came from a wide range of plastic processing industries and showed deep interest in Frimo technologies and competencies.
In polyurethane applications, the group showed its new basic model, PURe EasyLine. Frimo says this is "a well-equipped, reliable and cost-efficient high-pressure PU mix- and metering machine for processing all common non-filled 2-component PU systems."
A compact design and the "plug & produce" concept allows a fast start-up and easy relocation of the machine. With its highly accurate output metering and comfortable manual or automatic operation the PURe EasyLine is ideal for low and medium production volumes or for processes with less automation, the company said.
Frimo's booth also had a live demonstration of the new FlexTrim router cell developed by Frimo Inc. with ABB robotics. This milling machine offers high flexibility and mobility in trimming plastic components. The rotation possible, and additional movement of product fixtures gives higher productivity, claims Frimo, due to reduced fixture changes, and offers optimised ergonomics for the operator and improved component access for the milling robot.
