Wixom, Michigan -- Frimo Inc., which makes manufacturing systems for plastic parts, has appointed Lee Hodson as director of Advanced Development.
Hodson brings more than 30 years of automotive interior materials and process engineering experience to Frimo's executive team, the company said. In his new role, Hodson will be responsible for managing the company's new Interior Technology Center in Wixom, Michigan, and overseeing programme management, quality and sales support.

Previously, Hodson was president of Launch 21st Inc., an engineering consulting firm for plastics, coating materials and process development located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, that served Tier 1 suppliers.
He previously spent 17 years with Textron Automotive in Dover, New Hampshire, as director of Technology, where he oversaw new process development for automotive interior and exterior trim applications.
Frimo Inc. of Wixom offers advanced production systems for automotive trim such as instrument and door panels. It says these system are "used by global Tier 1 automotive interior suppliers to manufacture components for virtually every major automobile brand."
