Frankfurt, Germany - FSK, the professional association for foamed plastics and polyurethanes, is to hold workshops on plastic foams during its conference in Wolfsburg, Germany.
The workshops, to be held in conjunction with foam maker Kretschmar GmbH of Hanover, will offer theoretic and practical courses on the properties of foamed materials, as well as production methods such as water-jet cutting, contour cutting, die cutting, laminating and assembling.
FSK said in a 19 July announcement that participants will be able to carry out work on machines and to perform their own tests.
The workshops are designed for foreign industry, universities and young professionals who do not have experience with foamed plastics and want to learn more about it. The workshops will be take place during the FSK conference on foamed plastics, being held on 5-7 Oct 2011 in Wolfsburg.
