Frankfurt, Germany - FSK, the German Association for foamed plastics and polyurethanes, has called for submissions for its second innovation award for foamed plastics.
The award will recognise technical and creative innovations made by students in the area of foamed plastics, including polyurethanes.
Albrecht Manderscheid, FSK chairman, said the association wants to encourage experimentation of this 'versatile' material.
The deadline for applications is 26 July and the award will be presented at the FSK conference in autumn 2013. Some €10 000 worth of prizes are up for grabs, the association said.
