Falls Township, Philadelphia -- Future Foam Inc. of Council Bluffs, Iowa, has paid $5.1 million to buy two railroad-side buildings it has used as a carpet cushion manufacturing plant in Penn Warner Industrial Park, Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, for the past four years, the philly.com newspaper reports.
Future Foam is a US-based producer of polyurethane foam for carpets, bedding and furniture, with five foam-pouring and carpet-cushion plants and 15 fabrication plants.
The sites it has bought are a 56 100 sq.ft (5200 sq.m) building on 4.1 acres, and a 60 000 sq.ft building on 4 acres.
