Ohio, US – Polyurethane is key to the performance of a new range of mantels and shutters from Maumee, Ohio-based Fypon. The company said that the PU material is both durable and low maintenance, and claims they are suitable for both modern and traditional homes.
The mantel range includes a classic style, a stepped mantel, and a completely smooth mantel. They have been tested by a third-party lab, it said, and have a weight load capacity of about 90kg.
Meanwhile, its range of PU raised panel and louvred shutters has been extended, and are now available in sizes designed to match the height of entry doors.
Fypon has been producing moulded PU millwork products for the building industry for more than half a century.
