West Long Branch, New Jersey - Polyurethane foam manufacturer Sleep Innovations has developed a gel-infused memory foam which it claims provides maximum pressure-point relief, improved airflow and reduces heat -- all for giving users better quality sleep.
Sleep Innovations says it is launching the patent-pending new technology to offer a mattress with comfort, support, pressure relief and improved airflow. To create the gel-memory foam, gel beads are infused into traditional memory foam. The beads add a layer of support within the foam, gathering together at pressure points to deliver the maximum support, exactly where it's needed.
Data indicates that nearly thirty-five percent of Americans do not get the quality sleep they need, and this gel-infused memory foam technology addresses one of the main reasons -- poor quality sleep products.
Sleep Innovations has also just opened EOS, an innovation centre dedicated to new product development, located next to its headquarters in West Long Branch, New Jersey. "The opening of EOS reinforces Sleep Innovations' commitment to innovation and the development of revolutionary memory foam comfort solutions," said Michael Thompson, ceo.
Led by Mike Loomis, Sleep innovations' vice president of Business and Product Development, EOS' 8000 sq.ft is specifically designed to foster creativity. EOS houses 24 full-time employees who are focused on creating revolutionary comfort products. The team's diverse backgrounds -- including marketing, industrial & fashion design and product management.
EOS, says Sleep Innovations, is the Greek Goddess of Dawn, symbolising "both the new beginning that Sleep Innovations has undergone and the point in the consumers experience when they wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from using Sleep Innovations products."
