Tacoma, Washington -- The General Plastics Manufacturing Company has announced plans to showcase its rigid high density polyurethane foam at the JEC Europe show.
The company’s stall will feature the aerospace-grade series of flame-retardant rigid foams including
Last-A-Foam FR-6700 - an aircraft composite core which can withstand temperatures up to 121oC; the FR-3700 Precision-Core Series – a BMS 8-133-qualified foam which enables the cutting crisp edges and the FR-4300 thermoformable board series.
General Plastics’ president Bruce Lind said demand for low-weight, high-strength polyurethane foams as an alternative to traditional core materials, such as thermoplastic foam, honeycomb and wood was on the increase.
JEC Europe runs from 11 to 13 March in Paris.
