Fairlawn, Ohio – General Polymers Thermoplastic Materials has signed a new distribution agreement for A. Schulman compounds in north America.
A. Schulman was recently acquired by LyondellBasell, and is altering its distribution network.
‘With the continued consolidation through acquisition of smaller regional/national distribution entities into larger multinational organisations, we continue to expand to meet the market need,’ said Michael Kirtley, General Polymers’ president and COO.
‘Instead of focusing on volume driven business, we are focused on being a value-driven solution provider focusing on compounded and engineering resins. A Schulman compounded product line is a key part of this focus.’
