German polymer additives, sealants and composite materials supplier Bodo Möller Chemie has extended its market reach in Eastern Europe with the recent launch of a new offshoot in Slovakia.
The group, based in Offenbach-am-Main, Germany, opened Bodo Möller Chemie Czech & Slovakia, sro in the Slovak capital Bratislava in response to rapidly growing demand in the two countries. The new offshoot comprises an office, field service and warehousing.
"By establishing a company in Bratislava, we move much closer to our Eastern European customers. So far, (our existing business in the region) Bodo Möller Chemie Polska in Poland is very active," said the company in a statement.
The German speciality chemicals distributor is continuing to expand after recording consistent growth of 25 percent per year over the past five years. In 2008, Bodo Möller Chemie established subsidiaries in Italy, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Benelux and Switzerland, while this year it added another in South Africa.
The firm supplies a wide product range such as polymers including polyester resins, polyurethane resins and mould release agents; polymer binders, pigments, plasticizers and PU catalysts and methacrylate adhesives."
