Geztner introduces new heavy duty polyurethane matting
to insulate floors from the sounds caused by impacts.
Designated Construction Mat CM ER1050, it is designed to reduce the noise caused by impacts by 31dB and regular loads up to 5000 kg/m².
The new mat is a development of the company’s CM ER 0725 mat, said product manager Sebastian Wiederin. “It lowers the high noise or impact noise that would be made by walking or moving over ground,” he explained. Wiederin added that the new CM ER 10450 products had been tested to ISO 717-2 by external agencies.
It is likely to find use in supermarkets, storage halls, nursing homes where a quieter environment is needed, the firm said.
