Amberg, Germany -- Automotive seating manufacturer Grammer AG has named Hartmut Mueller as its new chief executive officer, replacing former ceo Rolf-Dieter Kempis with immediate effect.
Mueller, who has been a member of the Grammer board since 2007, is in charge of Strategic Product Planning, Internal Control, R&S and IT, a recent Grammer statement said.
Alois Ponnath will continue as chief financial officer and head the Investor Relations, Communications & Marketing and Quality Management & Systems departments.
Personnel director Manfred Pretscher will make up the new three-member board. Pretscher will be in charge of Purchasing/SCM Operations, Operations Performance Management and Human Resources.
"After some very painful measures last year, we have provided the company with a stable base," said Mueller. "For myself and my colleagues on the executive board, the mission is now to keep Grammer on the growth track in a market environment that has changed considerably." (RD)
