The four toluene diisocyanate makers are:
- Cangzhou Dahua,
- Gansu Yinguang Juyin,
- Yantai Juli and
- Fujian Southeast Electrochemistry.
Healthcare Co. filed its complaint last November.
In a February 27 announcement, Fuhua Industry and Trade, part of Fujian Southeast Electrochemistry, said the case had been accepted. The trial venue is the Intermediate People’s Court in Ningbo.
Healthcare Co. alleges the four TDI makers 'had coordinated with each other to fix the price of their TDI products'.
The mattress maker maintains this had led to an abnormal increase in purchasing prices.
'This resulted in a sharp cost rise and profit drop, causing economic damages,' the company said.
