London - Hennecke will put the spotlight on innovations in the production of fibre-reinforced structural elements, at the forthcoming UTECH Europe 2012 in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
The German company will also highlight its new machine and mixhead technology for making formed-in-place foam gaskets using polyurethane high-pressure metering.
Hennecke will display different fibre-reinforced structural elements for automotive applications made using the high-pressure resin transfer moulding (RTM) process. The improved version of the classic RTM process gives users unlimited capacities for producing large volumes, as a result of the degree of automation and cycle time, the German equipment manufacturer says.
Hennecke will be introducing a new kind of metering machine for extremely small outputs. The system can be used in the application of formed-in-place foam gaskets where the high pressure metering of particularly reactive raw materials enables different process steps to be combined effectively based on a synchronised cycle time. The new MT 3 mixhead for very small outputs is ideal for outputs starting at 1.5 g/s per component, according to the company
