Sankt Augustin, Germany - Hennecke GmbH, a polyurethane machinery specialist, has created a new line of compact metering machines designed and constructed consistently as a series, the company said in a recent statement.
The Qfoam series two-component machine combines the advantages of PU high-pressure technology with "an excellent price-performance ratio," Hennecke said.
The Qfoam machines are based on a newly-developed air-cleaned mixhead and metering technology from the company's BaseLine and TopLine series. According to Hennecke, this combination offers PU processors precise component metering and excellent mixing quality in a range of applications. The output can range from 100 - 1500 g/sec, depending on the size of the machine, Hennecke said, adding that the hand-operated mixhead is used for cold-curing flexible foam, compact systems, filling foam, integral skin foam, energy-absorbing foam and rigid insulation foam.
The company also said that Qfoam can be easily integrated into the production process, "even if the user is new to PU." (RD)
