Dzerzhinsk, Russia - Homa has announced the development of the first polyurethane adhesives in Russia. The has company initiated the first experimental-industrial production of two-component polyurethane glue for all types of the artificial grass.
A company spokesperson said in a telephone interview that they expected this will contribute the development of the polyurethane industry in Russia.
"During the experimental-industrial production already 1.5 tonnes of adhesive Homaprof 777 2K PU was produced. The characteristics of this adhesive conformed to the planned specification. The adhesive formulation is developed by the specialists of the company. This was possible due to the commissioning of a new production line" - according to the company.
The spokesperson also added that Homa expects to start the manufacture of polyurethane adhesives and coatings for wood flooring, in the near future. It has already developed the formulations, the company said.
"We give priority to the development of our own scientific potential, new chemical engineering, process improvement and control of quality management" - said the company.
Homa is a Russian chemical company, which is makes polymer dispersions, adhesives and coating systems for a range of applications, as well creating of new products and technologies.
