Nanjing, Jiangsu – System house Hongbaoli signed partnership agreements with BASF (China) and separately with refrigerator maker Hisense on 12 June, according to a statement.
Referring to BASF, the two parties 'have decided to start strategic cooperation in advanced and innovative projects for long-term mutual benefit,' said the statement.
A project management team as well as task forces for specific projects will be set up to help develop indigenous innovation, boost competitive advantage and solve problems in the production process, said the statement.
Senior executives from Hongbaoli and BASF will also meet annually to discuss progress.
Hongbaoli also signed strategic partnership framework agreement with Hisense (Shandong), a subsidiary of Hisense Kelon Electrical Holdings, one of China’s largest appliance makers.
The framework agreement aims to 'help Hisense’s strategic supplier gain a stronger foothold in the refrigerator, freezer and washing machine sectors in both China and overseas,' said the statement.
