Kürten, Germany - Colour pastes and coating maker ISL Chemie has reported a "huge" visitor turnout at the recent UTECH Europe exhibition in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
ISL said this was its fifth time exhibiting at the triennial show. The German company said its stand was consistently popular with visitors, adding that on the second day of the event, the stand was so busy that "even the corridor had to be used for conversations."
Amongst visits from long-term customers, more than one third of all visitors to the ISL stand were new contacts, the company said. At this year's event, ISL presented technical solutions for exterior use in a video presentation showing products such as pigment pastes or in-mould coatings for garden furniture or buoys.
The company also showed a variety of colouration methods for polyurethane materials. New projects such as colour pastes for low-weight gas cylinders were presented, as well as conventional applications in the automotive or footwear industries.
"UTECH is an ideal forum for exchanging information with our customers and prospective customers. Through these dialogues, we acquire extensive feedback about the products that we offer. This helps us to continue developing our products and services to suit customer needs," said Axel Rück, sales director at ISL.
Over 3500 visitors from 86 countries attended the UTECH Europe 2012 show, held 17-19 April in Maastricht, the Netherlands, a significant increase from the previous show in 2009.
