Ningde, Fujian – Huide New Materials is planning to build a new plant for PU resin, TPU and other products in Ningde, Fujian, according to the company’s environmental filing.

TPU from the plant could be used for fibres
Located in the city’s Longan Industrial Zone with over 70,000 m2 total area, the plant will house facilities with 100kT/year capacity for PU resin, 50kT/year for TPU elastomer, 20kT/year for PU system and modified systems and 10kT/year for water-based PU.
Construction of the project is estimated to take 12 months. The industrial zone also contains PU leather facilities, operational or under construction and planning, with 592m metre/year capacity.
With CNY 450m ($66m) investment earmarked, the project is expected to create 315 jobs when in operation and generate CNY 169m annual gross profit on CNY 2.3bn sales.
Headquartered in Shanghai, the company’s parent group Huide Science and Technology was set up in 1997 with existing facilities for PU resin and polyols.
