The Woodlands, Texas - The polyurethane division of Huntsman Corp. is increasing the price of all MDI (methyl diphenyl diisocyanate) products, propylene oxide (PO) and propylene glycol by $0.05/lb in the Americas, the company said 2 June.
The price increases are effective as of 1 July 2009. Greg Geaman, vice president, Americas, for the polyurethane division said the price increases are necessary because of recent significant escalation in Huntsman's raw material costs. (RD)
