Everberg, Belgium -- Huntsman Polyurethanes will increase the prices of all MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) and MDI-based systems by Euro 200/tonne in Europe from 1 July 2010.
"This price increase is necessary to achieve re-investment economics and to address the ongoing level of raw material costs for MDI and polyol products," said Nick Webster, vice president for the Polyurethanes division of Huntsman Corp., in a 28 May company statement. (RD)
