London-Market research group IAL Consultants Ltd has issued two new directories of polyurethane systems houses: one for Asia Pacific and one for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The Asia Pacific directory, published in April, costs Euro 1800. IAL says the "role of systems houses is of major importance in the development of the polyurethane market in new and emerging markets."
Systems suppliers in a region "act as an essential intermediary between processors and manufacturers of machinery, additives or basic chemicals," the market research group continues.
This means the directory forms a list of potential customers for all suppliers to the industry, IAL continued. It brings together up-to-date information on more than 120 independent systems houses in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
Each company profile has contact and ownership details, number of employees, annual turnover, production capacity and lists system types and applications, as well as trade names, and details of production sites and sales offices
Summary information is included for major systems manufacturers in the region including: BASF (Elastogran); Bayer; Dainippon Ink & Chemicals; Dow; Huntsman Polyurethanes; Mitsui Takeda.
The EMEA directory was published in March and costs €1000. It updates a previous directory and contains information on more than 60 systems houses in: Azerbaijan, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and the UK.
As with the Asia Pacific version, information is also included for major systems suppliers including; Dow, Huntsman Polyurethanes, BASF (Elastogran) and Bayer
