London, UK - ICIS Pricing has joined forces with Chemease, a provider of commodity information on China's domestic market, to launch new series of weekly English-language pricing reports covering the Chinese market.
ICIS and Chemease will launch a series of dedicated reports, including coverage of the Chinese polyether polyols market, in response to increasing demand for domestic price assessments and news on the Chinese market, said a 19 May 2008 press release.
According to ICIS, the reports will include yuan price assessments and in-depth commentary and analysis of the latest trends and outlook. The reports are to be written by an editorial team based in the Chemease office in Shanghai. There will also be contributions on regional developments from the editorial team in the ICIS office in Singapore.
ICIS publishing director Christopher Flook said, "ICIS pricing's China CFR price assessments are already widely used in the global market as a benchmark for settling transaction prices. Chemease reports are similarly used by industry players as a trusted benchmark in the local market."
"The new series of reports covering China is a valuable additional to ICIS's existing portfolio," he added.
