Norton, Ohio – ICP Adhesives & Sealants has launched a new two-component, low-rise polyurethane foam adhesive for roofing applications and the firm said the all-inclusive kit removes the need for separate dispensing equipment.
Designated Polyset Board-Max, it is a foam adhesive kit designed to attach a variety of substrates of insulation and cover boards to roof decks, including polyisocyanurate insulation boards. It is used in conjunction with Polyset CR-20, and the company claims the kit will lower labour costs and accelerate the roofing process.
The high-yield, fast grabbing adhesive can be used in ambient and substrate temperatures down to –1°C, reducing the requirement for specific winter formulations. The kit uses ICP’s Colorwise temperature warning nozzles that change from clear to blue when the temperature of the chemical has dropped below 15.5°C, indicating that the adhesive should not be dispensed until it has been warmed to the correct temperature.
