Brussels – Icynene Europe has announced three new spray foam products for the European market including a closed-cell spray foam featuring Opteon 1100 from Chemours, a low VOC grade and a touch-up kit.
The company claims that its IcyFoam Select grade is the first to be CE marked and produced with Opteon 1100 from Chemours. The material has been used for the box Park Croydon development in London. It was applied in 50 mm thicknesses on the interior of 70 shipping containers.
IcyFoam Basic is described as a low VOC spray foam and has been designed for commercial and residential construction. It has a lambda value of 0.027, it sticks well to substrates and seals buildings well, the company adds. IcyFoam Basic has a density of 40 kg/m³ is a closed-cell product and has CE marking and an E class fire rating.
IcyFoam Quick Fill is a canister-based foam repair product, PU cleaner, foam gun applicator and water spray bottle kit, Icynene said. The kits are designed to help insulate and air-seal hard-to-reach and small areas that larger, high-pressure systems cannot reach, the firm said. They are designed to be light and easily portable, Icynene added.
