Jackson, Mississippi – Innocor is increasing production of polyurethane foam at its two facilities in Baldwyn, Mississippi. The $4.1m investment will create 90 jobs, on top of the 450 the company already employs in the area.
Manufacturing capacity will be doubled on one of its production lines, and a second manufacturing line is to be relocated into a former distribution centre. The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance for the building, infrastructure and equipment costs.
The company expects the expansion will be complete by the middle of February. It hopes to have the new employees in place by the end of the first quarter.
‘We are very excited for the opportunity to expand our business in Baldwyn,’ said Innocor general manager Kevin Lindsey. ‘This would not be possible without the Mississippi Development Authority’s commitment to grow our existing industries in the state.’
