Shanghai, China -- Invista has used the UTECH Asia exhibition in Shanghai to launch its Terate range of polyols for rigid and polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foam systems.
The company showcased the benefits of the polyols at the exhibition, held in Pudong, Shanghai, 6-8 Sept.
Terate and Terate HT polyols can be used to achieve improved flame-retardant properties and better substrate adhesion in rigid PU and PIR foams, said polymer and fibre producer Invista in a 6 Sept announcement..
"This versatility and improved performance is backed by our recognised technical support to assist our customers with particular applications and equipment conditions," said Bill Trowell, business director for Terate polyols.
The polyols can be used not only in foams but in coatings, adhesives, elastomers and sealants.
Trowell noted that Invista had been serving the Asian market for over three decades and that the launch of Terate polyols has led to increased interest from Chinese customers.
