Maastricht, the Netherlands – Berlac group companies ISL Chemie and Bomix will use UTECH Europe to outline an expanded range of products for polyurethanes,
ISL Chemie said that its Moltopren S range now includes mixed colour shades as well as red, blue and yellow. The company said that these dyes contain reactive alcohol groups. The reactive groups help the dyes to become incorporated into polyurethanes during the polymerisation reaction. This locks the dyes into the polymer.
Additionally, the company will be showing a range of special effects pigments for coatings. Thermochromic pigments and pigments for in-mould coatings, including products for spray-skin applications, will also be on display.
Berlac's Bomix subsidiary will be showing a new finger-print additive for in-mould coatings and foams. Bomix said that using the additive makes parts 'forgery-proof' .
It will also be showing a range of release agents for spray-skin instrument panels, as well as steering wheels and engine covers.
Bomix will also be showing a range of coatings and in-mould-coating products. Flame retardancy, biocompatibility and conductivity can be combined into the coatings. The coatings can be used on flexible substrates, the company said.
ISL and Bomix will be showing the products on Stand 662, Berlac Group.
UTECH Europe is being held in Maastricht, the Netherlands, 28-31 May 2018.
