Popesti-Leordeni, Romania - Italian-owned PU sandwich panel maker Isopan Est expanded its sales in 2018 to EUR 52m, up 30% compared with a year earlier, by boosting its exports, according to company representatives.
In 2019, the company, which owns a factory in Romania, is on track to further expand its sales as its export sales have reached 52% of its total production this year. Isopan Est has launched a new production line with the aim to cover the rising demand for its products.

The value of the expansion project was not disclosed.
In addition to the domestic market, the manufacturer exports its products to a number of nearby countries. These include Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, according to data released by Isopan Est.
