Munich, Germany – Dog beds from StyleSnout are using Insqin water-based PUD from Covestro.
The PUD coats a textile liner to make the beds non-slip and protects them from the ravages of claws and teeth.
'The Insqin technology fits our philosophy. It enables us to produce functional textiles and synthetic leather without using solvents. Their ecological footprint is considerably lower than those made with conventional polyurethane coatings,' said StyleSnout's co-managing director, Katja Dalhofer.
In addition to standard dog beds, orthopaedic beds and those made with memory foam are also available from the company.
